Terry just called in an update on the Nicaragua team. They are having a great time so far. They showed the Jesus film last night in the village of El Coco to approximately 300 people and had 11 decisions for Christ! Please keep them in your prayers.

Terry just called to let me know he and the team are doing well. They showed a film in the village of El Coco again last night and 12 children were saved. They arrived safely at the next village and will show a film tonight.

Please continue to pray for the team.

Terry called after the showing of the film last night to let me know that 8 adults accepted Christ. Yesterday afternoon the men hiked down to some homes and invited the families to the film. They had around 130 in attendance. The village they are in is Ventilla. They will show another film tonight to the villagers. Pray that God will continue to work in the hearts of the people who attend and many more will come to know Christ as Savior. They will return to Okatol tomorrow afternoon. Pray for their safety as they travel.

I am so excited to hear how God is working in the lives of the people in Nicaragua. Thank you for these exciting reports from the team.

As our family has been praying for the hearts of the people in Nicaragua to be soft and ready to hear how much God loves them, with tears in my eyes, I can only imagine how the heavens are rejoicing for those who have made a decision for Christ.

We will keep praying for lives to be forever changed and safety for the entire team.

Terry called last night and gave me an update. Yesterday afternoon the team hiked about an hour to a village and shared with the children. Alex used the evang-a-cube and 29 children accepted Christ. There were no decisions last night following the film. Please pray for the team as they travel back to Okatol today.

Thank you so much for all these exciting updates on this blog. My son is on the trip - Wade McKnight - and every time I think of them all during the days and nights I've been praying for their safety and health, as well as the people they're ministering to...praying without ceasing!! It sounds like God is really working over there. Praise HIM!!!

And I am so thankful for every member of the team who sacrificed to go over there for the cause of Christ.

My son, Chris, is part of the team. My wife, Bev, and I have been praying, as you all have, througout the mission. We are awaiting news of their safe arrival back in Nashville. It is so wonderful to hear that God, in His providence and through His grace, has opened hearts and minds in the villages to His love and the Gospel, and called new brothers and sisters into salvation...new members of the Body of Christ! The team has glofiried God in their efforts. Let us praise Him for His goodness and, let's not forget to pray for those new believers, that their faith will grow, that the Enemy will be defeated in their lives, that they will somehow receive dicipling in spite of their remoteness and in turn, they will be light in the darkenss, helping the Lord Jesus bring more souls in Nicauragua unto salvation. Praise and glory be to God! Amen.

Just wanted to send a final update following our Nicaragua adventure. We were able to access two new villages over this last week and witnessed a total of 60 people accept Jesus as their Savior. Were we able to access the villages of El Coco and Ventillia with the Gospel and were amazed at the outpouring of His love. The names will be passed along to Bro. Ronaldo Acuna in Wilwili for follow up, discipleship and the beginning of new church groups. Pray for their continued growth as a new Christian. Pray for leaders, teachers, pastors and a place where they can worship. The team made it home yesterday excited and revived from the experiences over the last few days. It was my honor to serve with an incredible group of men deticated to serve Christ in the remote mountains of Nicaragua!

Thanks to all who prayed for our team over the last several days. We had a challenging, but a very rewarding week. There are so many villages in Nicaragua that need to hear the gospel. Thank God that Terry Paks has such a heart for the people in this area. It was a pleasure to serve along side of Terry, Alex, David and Raul this past week. Please keep them in your prayers, as they continue to lead other mission teams in this area of the world that is so hungry for the word of God. Thanks to Ben for his leadership. Thanks to all of our team for being willing to get out of their comfort zone for a week to share the gospel of Christ. I enjoyed serving with you and sharing in Christian fellowship.
