Honduras Update

We have two teams working in Honduras this week.  We have heard from Randy Pierce and he and his team are doing fine.  They are heading back to San Pedro Sula today.

Wally Austin is also leading a team this week.  I have spoken with Jennifer and she and the girls are fine.  They did not go out with the team.  We are still working on getting in touch with Osmany or Wally to check on them.  The area they are working in is very remote however, so it can be difficult to get a signal at any time.  Jennifer and I are still working on getting in touch with them and we will update as soon as we do.

I tried to call Trish and Marlon this morning but wasn't able to get through.  I have e-mailed them as well and will update as soon as I get word from them.

Please pray for our Honduras teams and ministry partners!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have gotten an e-mail reply from Trish. She, Marlon and Yuly are all fine.

Also several people have asked about the reports of the bridge at El Progresso being down. Gilberto, who provides all of the ground transportation for our Honduras teams, says that there are two bridges at El Progresso and while the older one has collapsed the newer one is still functional. So this is good news for our teams. I will continue to update as I find out more details.

I just got a text message from Randy. He and his team are on the way to San Pedro Sula and have not had any problems yet. Please continue to pray for both Honduras teams.

I just spoke with Wally's daughter. She said that she spoke with him just now and all of the team members are doing well. Please keep them in your prayers as they make their way back to the airport to begin their journey home.
